After graduating from Retail Business Administration at Algonquin College in 1973, l joined Sears Canada, where I spent 34 successful years.

During my career with Sears, I managed various depts. between the Carlingwood and St. Laurent Stores as well as the Distribution Centre  Manager and Personnel Manager at the Walkley Road site in Ottawa.

From 1991 to 2000, I managed stores in Thunder Bay, Edmonton, Red Deer and Sudbury, before returning to Ottawa to manage the St. Laurent Store. In 2004 I relocated to the Greater Toronto Area and took over as the Regional General Manager for 14 stores in the GTA, and in 2006 took over South Western Ontario and Northern Ontario and managed 29 Stores.

 My wife Mary Anne and I learn't first hand with our multiple moves on just how stressful moving can be when the entire process of Selling and Buying is not organized and handled professionally. I knew as early as 2000, that once retired I would enter into a Real Estate profession.
